The mood board lets you put your ideas that are swirling around in your head together in one place;
once you gather your thoughts & ideas, you take a step back to see what works together harmoniously and what doesn’t!
ie. Does it feel right? put together? congruent?
It's a crucial albeit simple step to avoid potentially costly mistakes down the road.

CONCEPT BOARD
The concept board is very similar; however, it creates a clear starting point to your design plan and is essential in many initial planning stages of design.
Usually there are selected or inspirational key design elements (ie. furniture, light fixtures, tile selection, etc.)
as well as your overall theme or style being represented and itemized.
